Mai Mislang right now is the hot topic. She is President Noy Aquino’s speech writer and is part of the president’s entourage to Vietnam. Apparently, while in the host country, she posted on her twitter account about her experiences or impressions about the country. Bad idea. What is she thinking? You’re a speech writer for a “President” then you’re bashing the host country during your stay there.
I read her tweets thru this link (a replica of her tweets) http://maimislang.tweetboard.com/ , my impression is that her tweets were done by a high school student. “The wine sucks”, “the streets of Hanoi is one of the easiest way to die”. These are just some of her tweets. I didn’t see her tweet about the guys in Vietnam.
OPINION:
I read some more of her shout outs on her twitter account. I think she is just being honest. Her tweets were not always bad. Some of them are praising the place, the music and stuffs. The only thing that I would say is in bad taste is her comment about the guys which have been removed from her wall.
The thing is, she should realize that she is now a presidential staff and she should be more careful about everything that she puts on her twitter. I just feel sorry for her she had a rude awakening.
